MIYAH SAWYERS

MINI CAPTAIN

Miyah is a 3rd grader in the Talawanda School District and this is her 6th year at NWP. When Miyah is not at dance, she enjoys playing softball and spending time with family and friends. Miyah is very kind and is always willing to include anyone.  Every day she is learning to be a better person. She works hard to improve her skills. Miyah is very excited to be the captain of the Mini team and to help all the new members thrive to be great dancers.  She is excited to go for the gold at Nationals for a three peat grand champion title!

BLAIR BEHYMER

YOUTH CAPTAIN

Blair is so excited to be the Youth captain this year! Blair is a sixth grader at St. Ignatius.  This is Blair's sixth year dancing at NWP.  From the time she was three years old, her passion has always been dance.  When Blair is not dancing she loves to hang out with friends, play volleyball, go swimming and go to King's Island.  Blair is passionate about helping others and making them feel loved.  Her favorite part of dance is learning the routines and helping others be their best.  Blair's favorite style of dance is jazz and hip hop.  She loves to turn!  Her goal this year is to have a great bond with each teammate and lead them to victory at Nationals! She feels honored to lead her team this year with kindness, energy and lots of spirit.  Blair loves her dance family and there's truly no place she'd rather be!

RYLEE PLAGEMAN

Rylee is a freshman at Harrison High School. She has been dancing for 12 years, entering her 11th season with NWP. After Rylee finishes high school, she plans to attend Ohio State University to become a Behavioral Analysit or a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. In her free time you can find her hanging out with her friends and family, perfecting technique and skills, going on a quick Starbucks run, blasting music during car rides, and shopping. From the time Rylee stepped on the stage at two years old, her passion, determination, and love for dance shined. As captain this year Rylee hopes to create a safe space at dance.  Rylee wants to make dance feel like a home away from home. Rylee is passionate about pushing the girls to be the best version of themselves they can be, and keeping the team undivided and more as one. Rylee is honored to be captain this year and is excited to help improve her team and lead them to gold at nationals

AUBREY GROPPENBECKER

Aubrey is a junior at Diamond Oaks High School, where she is part of the Health Technology program. She enjoys playing basketball and pickleball, spending time with friends, grabbing Starbucks, and going on car rides listening to music. Aubrey began her dance journey as a Tiny dancer—memorably as a skunk—and is now heading into her 11th season with NWP. Dance has always been a true passion of hers, and she feels incredibly honored to lead her team this year. With only two years remaining, Aubrey is determined to soak in every moment, create lasting memories, lead with heart, and help lead her team to Gold and Grand Champion titles.
